Professional Statement

Dr Loh Ping Tyug graduated from Trinity College of Dublin, Ireland in 1999 and certified in Internal Medicine (MRCP Ireland) in 2002. She underwent her Advanced Specialist Training in Renal Medicine at Singapore General Hospital and obtained her specialist accreditation in 2006. Dr Loh’s keen interest is in Glomerular Diseases and Diabetic Kidney Disease. She was awarded the National Clinical Excellence Team Award 2016 from Ministry of Health, Singapore for her contributions and achievements in developing a collaborative approach to providing optimal care for patients with Diabetic Kidney Disease at the primary care level. Dr Loh’s study in gene polymorphisms on tacrolimus dosing in Asian renal transplant recipients, won her the Singhealth Young Investigator Award in 2007.
