Our Story
Since its founding in 2007, OncoCare Cancer Centre in Singapore has been committed to providing the best available cancer care to our patients through expert, personalized treatments, driven by state of the art knowledge and making a difference through efficient delivery, effective communication, and compassionate touch. We seek to cure, to relieve and to partner our patients on their cancer journey by using our understanding of the detection, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer. We aim to reduce toxicity, control symptoms, prevent disfigurement, eliminate pain, and emotional distress associated with cancer-directed therapy.
We believe that today’s research leads to tomorrow’s cure and our doctors are actively involved in clinical research and trials, have a dynamic collaboration with regional cancer institutions and laboratories. Dr. Benjamin Chuah, Consultant Medical Oncologist at OncoCare Cancer Centre, was previously Consultant in the Department of Haematology-Oncology, National Cancer Institute Singapore, National University Hospital.
Graduating in medicine from Trinity College Dublin in 1998 where he was awarded the Professor Prize in Physic (Surgery) and the Arthur Ball Prize (2nd Place), Dr. Chuah returned to Singapore and obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2002.

Dr. Kevin Tay is a Consultant Medical Oncologist with the Oncocare Cancer Center and also a Visiting Consultant at the National Cancer Center Singapore. Dr. Peter Ang graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1991. He obtained his Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) and Membership of the Royal College of Physician (United Kingdom) in 1997. In 2000, he was awarded the Ministry of Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) Scholarship to train at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, (Teaching Affiliates of Harvard Medical School), Boston USA. Dr. Tay Miah Hiang, Consultant Medical Oncologist at OncoCare Cancer Centre, was previously the consultant at the National Cancer Centre Singapore’s Department of Medical Oncology, and Chairperson of Patient Education & Patient Survivorship programmes. Dr. Tay also served on the board of Singapore Children’s Cancer Foundation from 2006 till 2015 and was Chairperson of this foundation from 2011 to 2013, and now serving as an advisor.
