Dr Hemalatha Nathan graduated in 1976 from the University of Singapore (now National University of Singapore), has a postgraduate Diploma in Preventive Dentistry & Public Health from the University of Sydney (1982); and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (1991). She has 40 years of experience working as a dentist in the public & private sectors, and teaching both dental undergraduates and oral health therapists.
