Somerset Imaging Centre is the first in ASEAN to newly install the Magnetom Altea MRI Scanner where the patient can experience the unique features of watching video and listening to the sound while being scanned. The scanning time is also cut short significantly compared to conventional MRI scanner. This can ease the claustrophobic effect of certain patients. 

Somerset Imaging Centre also had both conventional and 3D Mammogram machine where it is shown that 3D mammogram improves the breast cancer detection by 34%.
