Dr. Anna Beth Seow completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery with honours (BDS Hons) from one of the oldest, most established medical and dental Irish institutions in the world, University College Cork (UCC). With her commitment to excellence, she won 1st Place in Conservative Aesthetic Rehabilitation Competition organized by Ivoclar Vivadent for UK and Ireland in 2015. She also won the American Association of Endodontists Award for Excellence in Endodontics during the same year.
Mostly known as Dr Beth, many of her patients complement her for having minimal pain to painless dental procedures which has helped many patients overcome their prior dental phobias. This has led to a following of patients who are both comfortable in the dental chair and motivated to maintain good dental hygiene. Dr Beth believes in spending time with patients to get to know their needs and concerns in order to gain a healthy working relationship with the patient, so that she can help the patient in the best way possible.
On first visit, patients can expect to meet a young face with a keen listening ear and gentle touch. The patient’s comfort is the priority. After a routine but thorough examination while humming along to some background radio songs, the patient will be presented with all possibilities with a recommended course of treatment taking into account the needs of the patient and the professional considerations clearly thought through by Dr Beth.
Dr Beth’s keen interests lie in root canal treatment and minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry. Rotary root canal treatment is both a painless yet efficientprocedure that allow patients to be relieved of toothaches that has caused them sleepless nights mostly within one session. Minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry refers to layering chairside using composite or what most know as the ‘white / tooth coloured filling material’. This technique can helpto close gaps, give the appearance of straighter and whiter teeth without compromising the structural integrity of the actual tooth. Fast and effective, results can be seen in a single appointment from start to finish.
Aiming to be a super all rounded general practitioner, Dr Beth is also a certified Invisalign provider, proficient and certified in Crowns, Bridges, Oral Implantology and Surgery as well as facial aesthetic procedures including Botox and fillers (recognised by the Singapore Dental Council). Her goal is to provide her patients, both local and international, with the best possible treatment outcome within the scope of a well-rounded, full time general practitioner.
Being a firm advocate in ethical yet dynamic dentistry, Dr Beth regularly invests in workshops and courses to hone her dental skills in order to benefit patients with the latest improvements in Dentistry. Dr Beth also volunteers both locally and internationally, providing dental services pro bono. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore, and both Singapore and Irish Dental Associations. Being born and bred in Singapore with Peranakan roots, Dr Beth is fluent in English, Chinese and Malay.
