Benjamin Tay
Benjamin has over 20 years of experience in radiology services. He graduated from the School of Radiography in the Singapore General Hospital in 1987 with a Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography from the Royal College of Radiographers (UK). He started his career in the then Toa Payoh Hospital and later joined Mount Elizabeth Hospital where he gained experience as a radiographer in a supervisory role. Subsequently he went on to work for one of the largest radiology vendors, GE Healthcare (then called GE Medical Systems, Asia) initially as an X-ray applications specialist, and subsequently as a sales executive where he was responsible for frontline sales activities in Singapore.
In 1999 Benjamin left GE and formed a team that founded Radlink, one of the largest private radiology practice in Singapore. In 2010 he joined Clarity Radiology as its COO where he was overseeing the set-up and operations of a network of radiology centres in Singapore and Malaysia. During his service in Clarity he expanded the company’s teleradiology business and was instrumental in the setting up and management of X-ray centres for some of its key clients in Singapore and Malaysia.
He is currently the Head of Radiology business at Jireh Group and is overseeing the development of its teleradiology and TeleHealth business segment. During his service with Jireh, he was instrumental in establishing a new radiology business component for the company under the branding of “Rapha Radiology” and is responsible for managing the operations of the network of radiology centres under this establishment.
Benjamin is one of the most all-rounded radiographers in the industry. Not only is he an accomplished radiographer with substantial experience in general radiography MRI and CT imaging, he is also very well versed in all aspects of centre management, business administration and regulatory compliance.

Our Services include:
1. X-Ray
We provide general X-ray services for the full body that is useful in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis, osteoporosis, infections, cancerous tumours, blocked blood vessels and many more conditions. Our state-of-the-art Digital Radiography (DR) system allows for shorter examination and waiting time as well as greater image resolution for a higher degree of diagnostic confidence.
2. Bone Density
Also available at our facility are bone density scans (also referred to as bone mineral density testing). This is a medical test used in the screening for osteoporosis. We perform this test on the spine, hip and forearm using a dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) machine that sends a very low dose of X-rays through the bones of the area being examined.
3. Total Body Composition Scan
With a physician referral, we can also perform a DEXA Total Body Composition scan which provides detailed body measurements by looking at bone density, fat mass, and lean mass. This critical information can be used to accurately assess the state of a patient or athlete’s health and define successful treatment plans and training programs.
