Professional Statement
Dr Kwok is Singapore’s first qualified transplant cardiologist. He is passionate about sports and exercise and is an Exercise Specialist accredited by American College of Sports Medicine. He established Singapore’s first multi-disciplinary Heart Failure Programme during his stint at the National Heart Centre Singapore, where he was the director of the programme. After leaving for private practice, he continues to see subsidised patients with advance heart failure and heart transplant at the centre.

In addition to clinical work, Dr Kwok teaches medical students at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). He is Past-President of the Singapore Cardiac Society (2011-2013). He is also the current Governor of the Singapore Chapter of the American College of Cardiology.
Qualifications
Dr Bernard Kwok graduated with MBBS from NUS. He qualified in internal medicine with the M.Med (Internal Medicine) and MRCP (UK). He completed his cardiology training with a fellowship in Heart Failure & Heart Transplantation at Stanford University School of Medicine in USA.
