Basic emergency care of children with acute illness needing immediate treatment, as well as injuries requiring minor procedures and stabilization.

General Paediatric Medicine care such as childhood immunization, growth and developmental assessments, as well as management of common chronic childhood conditions.

Diagnosing sudden illnesses and providing urgent treatment and pain relief.

Professional Statement

Dr Diana Lin has been working closely with children since graduating from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2005. She obtained her Master of Medicine in Paediatrics from NUS and her Membership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (United Kingdom) in 2009. She also attained the accolade of Nestle Silver Medal and Book Prize for the 2009 Master of Medicine Examinations. She completed her Paediatric traineeship with the Department of Paediatrics in National University Hospital (NUH) in 2012.

She is a fully-registered Paediatric Specialist with Singapore Medical Council since 2012, and has accumulated almost a decade of experience working in the Children’s Emergency. In addition to resuscitation, she also has special interests in procedural sedation, simulation teaching and transport medicine.

She is currently a Specialist Paediatrician with Urgent Care Clinic International where she is able to look after children with routine needs such as vaccinations, developmental assessment as well as tend to more urgent problems like wounds and injuries.

In addition, she presently remains a Visiting Consultant with the Children’s Emergency Division in the department of Paediatrics, Khoo-Teck Puat National University Children’s Medical Institute (KTP-NUCI) National University Hospital.

She was the sole Paediatrician of the Singapore Red Cross Team 3 to the Philippines during Typhoon Haiyan in 2013, where her involvement in the medical mission was a life-changing experience. On a more personal note, raising very active toddler twin boys is a daily learning journey, and she destresses with a good cup of coffee or a vigorous Barre class.
