Practitioner Profile

Dr Elisa Koh graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2001. Apart from obstetrics and gynaecology, she worked in various departments such as paediatric surgery, anaesthesia, general surgery and internal medicine. Dr Koh obtained her postgraduate qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the United Kingdom in 2006. Apart from delivering babies, Dr Koh developed a keen interest in the prevention and management of gynaecological cancers. Her interest began in the early days of her training in Singapore General Hospital, and was further developed subsequently when she worked in the Department of Gynecological Oncology in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Additionally she obtained further exposure in minimally invasive cancer surgery from Professor Nam Joo Hyun, a renowned gynecology oncologic surgeon from Asan Medical Centre in Seoul, South Korea. Her passion in cancer prevention and major cancer surgery has defined her role as a healer, educator and advocate of women’s health.

Dr Koh is accredited to practice, perform surgeries and conduct deliveries at a number of private hospitals such as Mount Elizabeth Novena, Gleneagles, Thomson Medical Centre and Mount Alvernia Hospital. In addition, she is Visiting Consultant to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
