Clinical Focus
As a Rehabilitation Medicine service provider, we are focusing on physical rehabilitation as known as Physiotherapy, specifically based on gross motor function such as standing, bending forward, walking, running, jumping, kicking a ball, etc and fine motor function such as combing hair, playing with sand, teaching them to write, drinking from a cup, using fork and spoon, etc. Besides, we are providing Occupational Therapy especially for disabled children (OKU) with learning disabilities for occupational rehabilitation such as wearing clothes, going to toilet independently, etc.
We also provides horse riding service for disabled children such as autism, high level Cerebral Palsy, and Down's syndrome to improve their balance and coordination and to gain their self-confidence. :)

Procedure Focus
We are providing treatments such as pain management, nerve stimulations, variety of manual therapies for example joint mobilizations to reduce joint stiffness and improves joint range of motion (ROM). There are many plans of rehabilitation exercises for our clients to work out with depending on their needs such as stretching, strengthening, balance, and coordination exercises. We also work out on ambulation using aids and gait training if the clients are able to stand and ready to walk :)
Patient and carer education will be provided each and every time they come for treatment such as home exercise program and also what to do and what not to do at home for a clearer picture of better rehabilitation strategies.

We are a Social Enterprise (SE) that strongly believe in ethical services to disabled children and youth. We are spearheading Community Based Rehabilitation in Malaysia. We are fully equipped with rehabilitation equipments for both physical and learning disabilities. As a healthcare provider, we are guided with caring, skilled and dedicated physiotherapists & occupational therapist and dedicated to facilitate our customers. We serve customers by traveling to Pusat-pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti (PDK) to deliver our services to lower income group and also welcomes you to visit our centre and try our horse riding service.
Qualifications
A qualified physiotherapist with Diploma in Physiotherapy from University Sultan Zainal Abidin, Kuala Terengganu.
Fellowship/Membership
I am in training with horse riding in order to qualify for Hippo Therapy Certificate.

Pusat Rehabilitasi PEMBINA is formed under the name of PEMBINA OKU Resources (Ijok) Sdn. Bhd. and its a social enterprise that provides rehabilitation services to improve disabled children's individual skills. We also provide horse riding services for these children and youth and also for normal person to improve their balance and coordination, neuromotor function to enhance their independent living.
We are a registered company under Companies Commission of Malaysia with registration number 116182-H and registered with Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM).
