Memo to the Medical Community

Dear Doctors and Medical Practitioners,

With recent news regarding clinic listings in an online website, we wish to address any concerns from the medical community concerning GetDoc services.

GetDoc wants to support healthcare providers and members of the community with a connected health platform on the web and mobile. The purpose is to provide information about your services and operations to the public and connect you to them.

As you know, people frequently look for the nearest clinic, want to know opening hours, where insurance panel clinics are and which specialist to consult with etc. We work hard to meet this need through GetDoc, an online health service resource. Because we believe everyone should know where to go whenever they need medical attention.

GetDoc compiles information from the public domain enriched with our own research data in the free online directory. At any time, clinics which request not to be listed are removed from the directory.

We work closely with the medical community on how we profile clinics which subscribe to our services such as appointment and scheduling tools, and telemedicine, respecting copyrights. Furthermore, to engage and as a service to the community, we collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote health awareness and education.

In all that we do, GetDoc observes SMC Ethical code and ethical guidelines following the standards set for the profession.
