The Malaysian Thoraic Society (MTS) has launched 5 modules under Primary Asthma Care Excellence (PACE) Programme to provide evidence-based asthma education to primary care doctors. The objectives of this programme are to enhance asthma care knowledge in primary care setting, improve diagnosis and overall asthma management and improve patient outcomes while reducing asthma-related morbidity.

This programme is exclusively for general practitioners to partake in. The 5 modules under the Primary Asthma Care Excellence (PACE) programme are as follows:

  • Asthma attack in the clinic
  • Differentiating asthma from COPD
  • Asthma in primary care
  • Asthma in pregnancy
  • Asthma in children

GetDoc in collaboration with AstraZeneca will be sharing details on the PACE Programme with doctors on our platform. Doctors who are on board in the PACE Programme will be awarded 5 CPD points upon the completion of all 5 modules. They would also be eligible to consult and treat patients referred by AstraZeneca on GetDoc Live and at clinic premise.
