About Us
AcuFem Women’s Specialist is a one-stop clinic that provides consultations and management for a wide range of gynaecological conditions such as menstrual problems and irregularities, menopause care, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, fibroids, and cancers. We believe in preventive healthcare and also carry out health screening and cervical cancer vaccinations for women.
At AcuFem Women’s Specialist Services, we are committed to providing professional advice and quality care for pregnant women before, during and after childbirth. We aim to ensure a smooth sailing pregnancy through ante-natal check-ups, management of delivery and scheduled visits after childbirth. AcuFem Women’s Specialist also provides specialized advice, care, and treatment for couples who have difficulty conceiving.
Dr. John Yam received his medical training from the National University of Singapore. After his internship & clinical rotations in surgery & neonatology, he received his postgraduate training in obstetrics & gynaecology at the National University Hospital & KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital, Singapore.
Dr. Yam has been a Trainer for the yearly Regional MRCOG Part II examination course, Singapore, from 2003 to the present. He was also an examiner for the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Clinical Performance Examination (2012)
